Summary:Hope and Homes for Children is an organisation that helps families at risk from different parts of Bulgaria not to give up on caring for their children. The organisation's social workers strive to provide psychological, moral and material support to families, trying to understand what children need to feel good. The organisation has been implementing a deinstitutionalisation coordination mechanism since 2011 and a model of active family support, recognised by the World Health Organisation. Programme Director Boryana Klimentova and Regional Coordinator Maria Hristova talk about the methods of their work, what motivates them to help children feel safe, relaxed and cared for in their own family.

Purpose:A very good example of successful mobile community work and a model for separation prevention.
