Summary:This is a book, which brings together ideas of the NGO Hope and Homes for Children – Bulgaria and the teachings and therapeutic practice of Bert Hellinger. The District Coordination Mechanisms for Deinstitutionalisation (DCMD) established in Bulgaria are an example of systemic thinking in solving social cases by the administration. The underlying idea is that parents come first for all people. They are the ones who give them life. Therefore, the natural place of every child is in his family. Anyone who cares for a child should have respect for his parents so that the child can safely accept this care from him.
Purpose:Applying evidence of the effectiveness of the Hope and Homes for Children model of active support for families. The organiсation advocates for supporting families, but also requires activity on their part, thus making them full partners.
