Summary:Data were collected by an experienced team of five researchers between August and September 2013 and included interviews with 61 adults. A thematic analysis was conducted of a comprehensive database comprising mainly 26 recorded live and telephone interviews, reports from 2 large focus groups, email correspondence and data from a specially designed and field-implemented questionnaire that illustrated aspects of 11 children's transition development them from institutional to family or close to family care.
Purpose:The aim of this report is to carry out an inclusive evaluation of the 2013 assignment of Hope and Homes for Children to illuminate important aspects of the organisation's work on the closure of two Institutions for Medicalised Social Care in Shiroka Laka and Kyustendil, Bulgaria.
