Summary:The Coalition's position is that the provision of state control over non-profit legal entities in public benefit activities receiving foreign funding to be entrusted to the State Financial Inspectorate is entirely unjustified and essentially constitutes unjustified state control over private initiatives and the freedom of association of citizens. Such interference is unconstitutional, contrary to EU law and entirely devoid of practical meaning and purpose.
Purpose:Expressing views on the proposed discriminatory and unjustified restrictions on foreign donations to civil society organisations in the country.
