Summary:The "Together We Can Do Everything" campaign, initiated by Electrohold Bulgaria and Hope and Homes for Children – Bulgaria branch, was launched in April 2020. It helped vulnerable families overcome the negative effects of COVID-19. Electrohold covered the electricity costs of 12 families until March 2021 and provided them with new household appliances. With additional donations, 29,000 BGN were collected and were spent for Christmas presents for 414 children from 199 families. The campaign helps families cope during crisis by providing stability and better conditions for children. Hope and Homes for Children works to eliminate institutional care for children and to provide a family environment for every child.
Purpose:The document presents a good example of corporate responsibility and civic participation. The successful cooperation between business and non-governmental organisation leads to the advocacy initiative in which families going through financial crisis or those in socially vulnerable situations are protected and supported.
