Summary:The District Coordination Mechanism for deinstitutionalisation is a tool for supporting all institutions involved in working with children and families. It strengthens coordination and communication at the district level and creates a platform for cooperation for the benefit of specific families from local communities experiencing difficulties in raising their children.
Purpose:The document presents a good practice for the inclusion of non-governmental and civil organisations in the processes of policy formulation and decision-making together with institutions at the local, regional and national level.
